UP woman who declined to accept triple talaq over telephone attacked with acid by in laws

A woman in her 40s, who was given triple talaq in one go on the mobile phone, was on Saturday attacked with acid allegedly by her husband and in-laws in Neuria place here.

Police have filed an FIR against five individuals and sent Rehana Hussain for medical examination. "She's received burn injuries below her waist as well as the medical report is awaited," a police officer said.
