RSS founder's book states Jesus was born Tamil-Hindu

Christ Parichay, a 1946 book by one of the founders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) book that claims Jesus Christ was born a Tamil Hindu, will be released in Marathi on February 26 by a Mumbai-based right wing trust.

The book, written in 1946 by Ganesh Damodar Savarkar may come as a revelation to millions of people across the globe who were heretofore under the impression that the son of God, Jesus Christ, was born to Joseph and Mary in Bethlehem. Savarkar, one of the five co-founders of the RSS, and Veer Savarkar's brother, claims that the founder of Christianity was actually a Vishwakarma Brahmin (who are followers of Lord Vishwakarma, the deity of craftsmanship)

According to a , the book claims that Christ's real name was, in fact, Keshao Krishna, and he'd had a traditional Brahmin janeyu ceremony at the age of 12. Christianity, says Savarkar, is a Hindu cult, not a separate religion.

Here are some of the claims made by the author in his book:

1.The present day Palestinian and Arab territories were a Hindu land.

2.He went on to say that Christ traveled to India and learnt yoga.

3.Apparently, Christianity was never a separate religion and it was a Hindu cult and doctrine introduced by Christ.

4.He was given medicinal herbs and plants for his recovery from the 'deathbed'. Christ also was taken to Kashmir.

5.It was in Kashmir that Christ prayed to Lord Shiva and he spent the last days of his life in the Himalayas.
