Ben Affleck isn't quitting Batman pictures: Actor is' ready and thrilled to roll' claims report
Affleck will reprise his Batman role in Justice League movie.
Rumours have been swirling that Ben Affleck is intending to quit playing Batman in DC's picture Universe, but a fresh report in HollywoodLife has put a finish to such guesses.
A source told the outlet, "I believe he's excited and ready to roll" together with the coming films featuring Batman.
Rumours regarding the finish of Batfleck started after host John Campea alleged that Affleck needs to get in a current episode of Collider Movie Talk out of the Batman character. Campea went on to reveal that the advice came from three distinct DC/Warner Bros insiders.
He does not desire to be Batman. I've been told that Affleck is speaking with Warner Bros. in a effort to get out of being Batman."
The Gone Girl actor, who had been the Gotham City vigilante in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, declared in January that the standalone Batman movie, titled The Batman will not be directed by him. The 44-year-old shared the reason for the move and shown that he cannot handle being director, actor and still give his "very best performance."
Affleck said in a statement, "There are definite characters who hold a special place in the hearts of millions. Acting passion, this character demands focus and the very best performance I can give. It is becoming clear that I cannot do both occupations to the amount they require. Together with the studio, I have made a decision to find a partner in a director that will collaborate on this huge picture with me. We are currently buying a director, and it is being made by us, although I am in this. I remain exceptionally dedicated to the endeavor, and look forward to bringing this to life for fans round the world."
After Batman v Superman, Affleck reprised his Batman character for a small cameo in Suicide Squad and contains wrapped filming for Justice League movie. He is expected to begin filming The Batman shortly, and he will be starring alongside Joe Manganiello, who'll play with the villainous Deathstroke.
Justice League is slated for launch on November 11, 2017.
