Chetan Bhagat Shit On Celluloid 'Half Girlfriend' : Boy loves girl against all odds, gets her in the end. Meanwhile 3 hours of lame dialogues and music
Honestly, this is the kind of culture that encourages Indian men to constantly harass Indian women. The idea that if you constantly, unrelentlessly keep harassing a women she'll eventually somehow fall in love with you.
Half Girlfriend, Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel, released in 2014 and became fairly popular amongst the young generation. And much like the previous novels of Bhagat, this one too continues to be adapted into a movie together with the film even retaining the original title.
Starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, the movie is directed by Mohit Suri (of Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain acclaim).
The film is set in Delhi University's St. Stephen's College and is based on the two primary characters, Madhav (Arjun Kapoor) and Riya (Shraddha Kapoor). They come from different worlds, but somehow Riya ends up being Madhav's 'half girlfriend.'
A few changes will be witnessed by the film adaptation of the novel.
